Volunteer
With over 850 volunteers donating a collective 2,600 hours of their time each month – that’s the equivalent of more than 16 full-time employees - Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services is powered by our volunteers.
Volunteers play a crucial role in the fight against hunger by inspecting, sorting, repacking and distributing the tens of millions of pounds of food that comes through our Distribution Center. Please continue reading to learn more about our individual and group volunteer opportunities.
