Partner Agency & Community Engagement (PACE)

With over 448,000 people in Sacramento County at risk of hunger, it’d be impossible for us to meet the demand for food assistance without our 125 partner agencies. We rely on this collaborative network of food pantries, community meal sites, schools, college campuses, senior centers and nonprofit organizations to get food to our neighbors in need.

In addition to food, which we provide at no cost, we support our partner agencies with:

  • Potential retail pairing opportunities with local stores for grocery recovery.

  • Ongoing training to deliver the best services possible.

  • Nutrition classes and resources that educate neighbors on using the items provided to prepare healthy meals.

  • Connections to the equipment needed to effectively receive, store and distribute food.
