Youth Education

Youth Education is a year round program that serves children ages 1-17 years old with educational assistance and enrichment activities. Staff and volunteers plan activities, games, field trips and exposure to as many new experiences and opportunities as possible. Children ages 1-5 participate in Playcare Academy, where volunteers help prepare toddlers and preschool children for entering preschool and kindergarten and encourage parental involvement in their child's early education though co-operative system. Children ages 6-17 participate in After School Academy, where volunteers offer academic support and tutoring, enrichment activities such as art, gardening, cooking, college and test preparation, community service, character building, field trips and opportunities to create with technology in Computer Clubhouse.

Enrollment in this program is referral only. There are no drop-off childcare services and no drop-in tutoring services. All children and parents must attend an orientation and agree to a commitment to the program before attending.
